Description of Action

The City receives supplemental pension retirement funds from the State of Florida at the end of each fiscal year for Police and Fire pension retirement under Florida Statutes 175 & 185 (insurance premium allocation).  This budget amendment recognizes the receipt of these annual State monies and appropriates them for payment to the City’s Police & Fire Pension Plan.

Fiscal Impact/Cost Summary
